Yes, you can go to any hospital or clinic within your area of cover. It is a little different if you are in the United States, but it depends on your insurance company. Please contact us for further details.

Yes, in most countries, some partners have what is known as a 'DB'.
For those in Japan, due to the specific nature of the system there, almost none of the providers have such an arrangement. It is still possible to set up direct billing with your insurance company, though. Direct billing is usually set up when you are admitted to hospital or when outpatient treatment is expensive. The insurance company will usually issue a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) directly to the healthcare facility prior to treatment, which is almost the same as a DB. We can help you arrange this as part of our ongoing service.
