These are very basic questions about international health insurance, Travel Medical Insurance and Student Insurance.
Who is eligible?
Anybody is eligible who applies before certain age, which is between as low as new born and up to 75. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more details.
Is your offer suitable for Diplomats and their Families?
Yes, of course. We work with embassies and diplomatic missions across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as in Europe. If your mission is based elsewhere, we can help with that too. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sometimes, new diplomats initially opt for short-term coverage while we help them arrange comprehensive international health insurance in their new country of residence.

Do you offer MHD Contract ?
Yes. It depends on insurance provider. A minimum of 5 employees are required to be eligible for Medical History Disregarded Contract. Maximum age for MHD5 is 64

Do you offer Direct Billing?
Yes, in most countries, some partners have what is known as a 'DB'.
However, for those in Japan, almost none of the providers have such an arrangement due to the specific nature of the system in the country. However, it is still possible to set up direct billing with your insurance company. This is usually arranged when you are admitted to hospital or when outpatient treatment is expensive. Prior to treatment, the insurance company will usually issue a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) directly to the healthcare facility, which is almost the same as a DB. We can help you arrange this as part of our ongoing service.
UPDATE: January 2026
Another partner is currently rolling out the Payment Debit Card, but only for the Group Scheme. This means that you no longer need to pay out of your own pocket and claim reimbursement. Cards for individual clients will be available in the near future.

Will my insurance be affected when I leave the country I reside and work in another country?
Not at all. You can carry on with your insurance. There is no need to cancel it. All you will have to do is inform us about your new residence address change and we will handle the rest.
Do you offer Travel Medical Insurance?
Yes, we offer single and multiple travel insurance. It can be taken out by anyone regardless of where they live. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details.
Can I extend my Travel Medical Insurance?
Yes, of course. Before your insurance expire you will receive email reminder direct from insurance company. Then, you can decide whether you would like to continue or let it lapse.
Does travel insurance cover lost luggage and flight delays?
Unfortunately, we only offer travel medical insurance at the moment.
Do you offer Medical Insurance for Students?
Yes, of course. Not only is it very competitively priced, but it also meets the requirements for a US Visa and Schengen visa if you are planning to study in the EU. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more details.
Can I seek treatment anywhere in the world?
Yes, so long as it is within the geographical area you have paid for.
Can I go to any hospital?
Yes, you can go to any hospital or clinic within your area of cover. It is a little different if you are in the United States, but it depends on your insurance company. Please contact us for further details.
What does dental cover?
It depends on insurance provider.
Basic Dentistry:
oral examination and required X-Rays, prophylaxis, cleanings, and preventative treatment, amalgam restoration, extractions, root canal therapy
Major Dentistry:
gold fillings, crowns, dentures, solid inlays, bridges, dental surgery
